G’Day!

I’m Laura, an experienced photographer, videographer, writer and digital content creator based between Newcastle and Sydney!

Minnesota born and raised by way of Colorado, now infused with a bit of Aussie twang.

My love for visual storytelling began early. I remember watching my dad snap endless photos of our family “just one more shot” was his signature tagline. Fascinated by his exuded passion behind the lens, I found myself wanting to understand this excitement and urge to capture authentic small moments. After picking up his camera, I was hooked. From that moment on, I seized every opportunity to document life through photos and videos, drawn to capturing otherworldly places and people as their most authentic selves.

Over the years, I’ve honed my digital editing skills and learned from professional photographers how to translate my craft and passion into a business. As a photographer and videographer, I seek out natural and surreal moments. My style leans into natural light, candid moments, and stillness, creating timeless, authentic visuals that tell a story. I know how awkward it can feel in front of the lens (it’s not my preferred end of the camera either!), so I always ensure a comfortable, relaxed and easygoing atmosphere during shoots.

While experimenting with cameras and Adobe Creative Suite, I also developed a love for digital design and content creation. I built my first WordPress website at the age of 15, and since then, I’ve refined my skills through a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Marketing, a Master’s in Journalism & Communication, and over seven years of professional industry experience. Every site and piece of content I create is grounded in fundamental design principles and best practices across UX, UI, and SEO, ensuring a seamless, engaging digital experience.

Whether it’s a personal branding shoot or a full-scale email marketing campaign, I take the time to truly understand my clients’ vision. Their needs are always at the centre of my creative process.

In my spare time, you’ll find me outside, hiking, surfing, climbing, travelling, anything that gets me closer to nature and the wild beauty of our planet.

  • My photography and videography rates are based on standard session packages, but final pricing depends on the shoot location and scope. A consultation is required before I can provide an accurate quote. Please reach out for package pricing details!

    My digital content and writing services are priced at $100 AUD per hour, or at a discounted package rate for project-based work (such as website builds). Monthly retainers are also available for ongoing support.

  • Of course! I’m always keen to meet with potential clients for a free consultation whether over a video call or a coffee. It’s the perfect way for us to connect, chat through your ideas, and see if we’re the right fit.

  • I’m always open to travelling within the Greater Sydney and Newcastle areas, and I’m available for destination shoots when my schedule allows. Travel outside these regions may incur an additional cost — but I’m always keen for an adventure!
